Development
RGA Design LLC has been engaged in the formation of development teams to pursue public, private partnerships ‘3P’. The comparable experience is a result of the firm’s involvement in the development and design of multiple private land use types and mixed use developments as well as the long term individual experience ‘IE” governmental service of the founder William Henry PhD as a former Chairman of the Hillsborough County City of Tampa Planning Commission ‘HCCPC’ and Industrial Development Authority ‘IDA’ and member of the Housing Finance Authority ‘HFA’. The individual experience of Dr. Henry also includes the successful response and execution of the James L Knight City of Miami Convention Center. The pioneering redevelopment project which catalyzed downtown Miami redevelopment included stacked mixed-use and innovative air rights with a 600 room Hyatt Hotel atop a convention center, The project was co-developed by Worsham Brothers of Atlanta and Turner Construction and Development of New York and Chicago. Dr. Henry led the Turner Development team. He formed the partnership and helped structure the development team contracts. He was also the project architect on the Times Square Marriott Marquis in historic New York Times Square while with John Portman Associates of Atlanta.
